April Full Egg Moon (Pink Moon) - 11th April 2017

The April Full Egg Moon (Pink Moon) on 11th 2017 is called so, due to the time of year when the geese lay their eggs, also it marks the end of mourning, dieting and fasting, signifying the beginning of spring, new growth, a new beginning and rebirth.

With the Sun situated in Aries and the moon taking its place in Libra this represents the point of equilibrium, the balance, where all things are equal.  The flame of creativity and ambition is being fed by the oxygen of Libra, fueling its ambition; this cardinal pressure begins to create movement.  It can be likened to firing up an engine in a car and once it takes hold you can drive wherever you wish to go – many destinations are possible.  Reason mixes with the spark to create action that is then tempered with adjustment.

This Libra egg moon allows you to see both sides of a situation or an issue, therefore, relationships reveal their beauty and their flaws, two sides of a coin can be seen at once, the light and the dark,  revealing the polarity of all things.

Thoughts and feelings may collide with each other until they reach a conclusion, an agreement.   Our thoughts need to match what we are feeling or conflict can be felt within.  Your inner scales can swing from extreme left to right until this alignment takes place and balance is restored.

According to the Farmer’s Almanac the period from this Full Moon through the last quarter of the Moon is the best time for killing weeds, thinning, pruning, mowing, cutting timber, and planting below-ground crops.

The Academy of I: Crow Moon or (sap moon) in Virgo – March 12th 2017...

For many of us the Virgo Full Moon will bring a sense of groundedness to our lives, if we have been feeling overwhelmed with the Pisces influence, the emotions will regulate with the winds of reason.   It will be easier to take practical methodical action, in fact we will want to be more industrious and have a desire to serve the greater good.  All that has built within our imaginations over the past few weeks will now have a chance to manifest.    Revealing your work to others can help healing occur for yourself and for those that it is aimed at.  This crow moon is the effect of all that has been building within; using this energy constructively by applying the Virgo ‘lantern of reason’ to situations allows us to make sense of our deeper feelings.

The Full Moon or Wolf Moon in Cancer - 12th January 2017

Cancer rules the emotions but it is good to remember that cancer is water at the beginning of its journey, the first water sign, active, fresh, ambitious. This full moon is appearing when the sun is in its opposite sign Capricorn, the season of hibernation, mix this with the unusual occurrence that all the planets are currently in direct motion in the heavens and a picture of emotional rebirth springs to mind. Old memories are cleansed and refreshed by new water coming in, an emotional shift that reinvigorates the spirit awaiting the fires of purpose to come into alignment. This is a time to let go and embrace the present.
