Full Cold SuperMoon in Gemini – 3rd December 2017

According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, the name of the full moon in December is the ‘Full Cold Moon’; this is when the day’s are becoming colder and shorter as we head for the Winter Solstice. This full moon is in the sign of Gemini and the Sun is in Sagittarius.  The Sun has now given us a glimpse of the vision of our bigger picture and it is making a square to Neptune, indicating that our imaginations have the potential to be extremely active and in full flood, blended with the full moon in Gemini we are left with a picture of swiftness and busy thoughts.    Our questioning is accentuated; our curiosity and emotional thoughts will be racing with imaginings of all kinds entering our heads.  The thing is though it will be in our heads - Mercury the ruling planet of Gemini is travelling in retrograde motion at the same time, which means that he does not communicate clearly, for instance if you are a writer there could be a delay in getting the thoughts in your head down on paper, even though you can see clearly what you want to say.  This can be a fraught time when any delay (and there is likely to be delays) will seem more frustrating than usual.  The advice here is if you have trouble writing things down – draw, channel words into art - there is always a way to work with the heavens, see it as an opportunity to try different approaches.
